Did you know that Alameda County will soon issue its first permits for the sale of home cooked food? In this workshop, we'll go over the permitting process and all of the next steps you can take to create your own home restaurant!

Whether you're looking to make some extra income, or test your food concept to evolve into a food truck or full-scale restaurant, this workshop is for you! Home cooks of all levels, backgrounds, and interests are welcome.

There will be a potluck lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm. You're invited to bring your signature dish to share, and try some incredible home cooking from around the Bay Area. Potluck attendance is not mandatory for the workshop.

This workshop will cover:

-How this is all legal (for the first time!)
-The Health Department permitting process
-How Foodnome can help you
-The potential for your business!

Foodnome is the #1 marketplace for home cooked food in California. We help home cooks permit, market, and manage their home restaurants, and connect them with hungry diners in their neighborhood.

Our mission: We believe that every community has a right to self-determination, both in terms of economic opportunity and access to healthy food. Foodnome aims to empower local home cooks to make a living cooking what they love, and connect these passionate cooks with their hungry neighbors.

This is event Part 1. Stay tuned for Part 2: Free Vegan Home Restaurant Workshop
